My Story
I didn’t set out to become an artist.
I was a strategist, a technologist, a woman of numbers and structure — building systems, managing data, optimizing outcomes. But life has a way of cracking us open when the old ways no longer serve. Mine did so with fire. Loss. A grief that couldn’t be crunched or contained.
It was in that quiet ruin that I found myself drawing again.
First in fragments — little pieces of memory, pieces of me.
Then in circles, sigils, prayers made of pigment.
My son and I were living close to the land, with not much more than each other and the stars above. Every brushstroke became a kind of remembering. Not just of who I was — but of what I was here to do.
Rogue Inner Child was born not as a brand, but as a rebellion.
A refusal to forget.
A soft fist raised to the sky.
A place where healing and magic could coexist — through story, through art, through ritual.
Every piece I make is part of that journey.
Every book, every line, every frame holds the echo of what I’ve lived through — and what I hope to offer back.
If you’re here, maybe something in you is remembering too.
Welcome. You found me.
You found us.
I'm Bethany. I draw to remember. I paint to reveal. I write to heal.
