This piece was created as an homage to the great bald eagle who revealed itself at Shaw. Time and again, a massive eagle — the size of a person — would descend into the bog to wash, landing with the gravity of a guardian spirit. Its presence was unmistakable, a reminder of protection and sovereignty. This artwork captures that essence: an eagle as watcher, as guide, and as bridge between earth and sky.
